Welcome to the Sky Maps Database

This is the part of the site where you'll be able to view major constellations in the sky without having to download any software! Every map is present in 2 different versions:

1. Constellations and Nebula Positions shown
2. Natural Sky (Untouched)

You browse through the constellations by the seasons during which it's easier to observe them, i.e. When they're visible when the sun sets. A brief description of each constellation is also present, as well as the best objects to view in each constellation. When you click on an image, your browser opens the image in a larger format. You can toogle each image so that it appears or that it disappears.

If you want to know if a planet is in any particular constellation, try the Online Planetarium, which will feature this as well as a ton of more information for you to get.
