What is Syndication?

Whether you think this concept really is an evolution or just a marketing strategy, RSS and Atom are part of a new generation of web services to help the Internet user get what he's looking for, because that's what the Internet is all about. Certain webmasters forget that the Internet is first of all a resource, an unlimited resource or nearly any subject, and that it's goal is to help the user, not drive a maximum of traffic towards the webmaster's website. That's what makes it unique. To me, the Web is the complete Encyclopedia of human knowledge.
