Moonio

Hello to all of you!

It’s my pleasure to announce you the release of Moonio, an Astronomy Social Network where users can add content and vote: it’s the same concept as popular sites such as Digg or del.icio.us. In a nutshell: it allows you to post links and describe astronomy web articles, news, or pictures that you’ve particularly liked and that other users can vote for. The front page shows the most popular entries that most people have liked, and therefore, it’s information that can potentially interest you!

Because it’s a social network project, it’ll only work if there’s a real investment from the astronomical community, and in that way Moonio will become a true Astronomy Web 2.0 platform where everyone can exchange and comment news and astronomy information. If the project works, it’ll also be a resource for bloggers to find some content to post about. You could also try to promote your blog post and make it visible to the rest of the community

For more information about the project, open the Moonio Information Page

Wanna Get Started? Launch Moonio!

Hope you’ll like it!
Clement
